How this self-coaching worksheet works

This self-coaching worksheet helps you turn a messy thought into a clearer next step.

It is useful when you feel stuck, overloaded, unsure, or pulled in too many directions.

Your notes save in your own browser with localStorage.

Use one situation at a time

Start with one situation. The worksheet works best when it is focused.

Write what happened, what you feel, what is inside your control, and what facts you actually know.

Then choose one next step small enough to do today.

Keep the next step small

A good next step should be specific and realistic.

For example, send one message, write one paragraph, take a short walk, or make one decision.

If the next step feels too large, split it again until it is easy to begin.

Simple self-coaching example

Situation: I keep delaying a message because I am worried it will be awkward.

Feeling: tense and avoidant. Facts: the message is short, and I do not need to solve everything in it.

Kind response: it makes sense that this feels uncomfortable, and I can still send a clear first reply.

Next step: write a two-sentence draft, wait five minutes, then send it if it still feels fair.

When to use a different kind of support

This worksheet is for general reflection and self-organization.

It is not therapy, crisis support, medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice.

If a situation feels unsafe, urgent, or too heavy to handle alone, seek qualified help.
